Our Story.
APS is a Brisbane-based painting and architectural surface business with more than 19 years of industry experience and four generations of trade knowledge behind it.
Founded by Bradley Longford, APS works across residential homes, commercial spaces, government facilities, shop fit-outs, and architectural projects throughout Queensland.
Evolving beyond traditional painting, APS combines trade experience with contemporary architectural surface systems, influenced by European decorative finishes and shaped through experience alongside highly regarded decorative finishers from the UK, Ireland, and Spain. This includes limewash, Venetian plaster, microcement, and textured mineral coatings.
Today, APS continues to balance practical trade knowledge with a strong appreciation for materials, detail, and the role finishes play in shaping a space.

We believe the best finishes are built on understanding the surface beneath them.
Generational experience in the trade has taught us that good finishes are rarely the result of shortcuts. They come from understanding materials, respecting the process, and selecting the right finish for the space.
Some projects call for simplicity. Others call for texture, depth, and specialist surface treatments. We work within museums, libraries, archives, and other sensitive environments where the protection of surrounding spaces and assets is as important as the finish being applied.
Whether working on a family home, a commercial fit-out, a government facility, or a decorative surface, the aim remains the same. To create finishes that feel considered, perform well, and stand the test of time.
